What: Each of the three days will be devoted to water, forestry, minerals/mining and agriculture. The classes will be taught by resource professionals (hydrologists, geologists, foresters, agronomists) using hands-on grade appropriate lessons that you can use to teach your students about natural resource management. Credit: Earn 17 clock hours ($2/clock hour). Credit fees are the responsibility of the registrant. Information about registering for credit will be included in your confirmation packet. This program is growing rapidly and space is limited. Early registration is recommended. |

Grant Water & Environmental Center, Walla Walla Community College For Whom: K-12 Teachers Cost: The $100 registration fee includes: lunches, snacks, tours and tons of hands-on classroom teaching materials and activities. We are able to offer partial scholarships of $60 off of the registration fee due to the support of our registration underwriters; Washington Grain Commission and Franklin Conservation District. A $40 non-refundable deposit is due with your registration. Register early - this offer is available to the first 20 teachers to register. Registration fee is non-refundable.
