What: Fifth graders join us at the Spokane Interstate Fairgrounds to learn about agriculture, a major industry in Washington State!  It is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the variety of crops and animals that are produced in Eastern Washington.  Students learn that farming is a business, how farm products get to our tables, that animals and crops need protection and what by-products are used from animals and crops.  They will visit stations on wheat, hay, sheep, dairy, goats, beef, rabbits, peas and lentils and more!
