What: This three-day workshop for K-12 teachers includes topics on mining and mineral resources. Spend Wednesday, August 8th and Thursday, August 9th in the classroom learning about the mining industry and minerals, getting new activities to use in your classroom and lots of hands-on materials! Friday, August 10th will be spent in a working mine seeing first-hand where the minerals used everyday come from and how they are extracted. Space is limited so register today! Credit: Earn one graduate credit from University of Idaho ($55/credit) or 24 ESD 101 clock hours ($2/clock hour). Credit fees are the responsibility of the registrant.
